Center for Educational Research

The predecessor of our current "Center for Educational Research," which used to be called Center for Educational Research and Instruction, was established on June 1st, 1989 as the comprehensive and core research and educational institute to contribute to our teacher training programs. The construction of all the facilities was completed in 1994, and in 2001 the center was reorganized and became what it is today. As part of restructuring, the number of the sections in the center increased from two to three, and we now have the education practice research section, the information technology education section, and the clinical education research section, to which full-time teachers were respectively appointed in April 2002. The mission and activities of the three sections are as follows:
Education Practice Research Section---To develop school foundation curricula that meet the needs of the day;

Information Technology Education Section---To facilitate technology education for students, improve information technology environment in school, and contribute to its competitiveness in information-related license acquisition and its overall competency;

Clinical Education Research Section---To offer educational counseling to teachers in general, and address various issues in clinical education.
